Jonathan Evan Doneley Day 2011
I would say I consider myself pretty fortunate when it comes to my friends. One in particular is Jon, he is incredibly generous and goes waaaaay over and above to help/bless/care for people and if you happen to be one of his close friends, dayam, you WILL be blessed whether you like it or not. He is so much to hang out with, its no wonder he has to cut the list of his CLOSEST friends down to 20! This guy is seriously popular.
Every year for the past 3 years, his birthday celebration has become somewhat of an epic day. He decides for HIS birthday he will give US a day we will never forget. Full of fun, laughter aswell as a touch of luxury. In previous years we have been to some of the best restaurants in London and day trips complete with chauffeur driven cars. This year it was breakfast at Dean Street Townhouse (very niiiice), then a private boat along a canal in pretty, leafy Maidenhead to an island where drinks and lunch was laid on for us followed by afternoon lawn games. All paid for by himself.
What a way to live! This level of generosity actually really challenges me to be better at giving in general. How can i put a smile on someone else’s face? How many more ways can i show someone how much I love and appreciate them? Life is so much more fun when you take the focus off yourself.
